Can't add parts, Script Error
ID: 16 Category: Easy Plant Maintenance 1.6 Status: Resolved Views: 937

Question:
When I click the Edit button in the parts area, I get a red warning. Parts list not found.

Solution:

When you pressed Delete All Records and start fresh, your parts list is empty. In order to work, it needs at least one record.  This is an issue with 1.4 only.

To add the required record to the parts list:

1. Open Easy Plant Maintenance using your password or Administrator.

2. Select the menu option Scripts from the top tool bar (To the left of Window)

3. Select the Open File menu option.

4. Navigate to C:/Program Files/Easy Plant Maintenance

5. Click on the file Parts.

6. Click the button New Rcrd. Enter some data related to a part or enter the parts list.

7. Go to the Window menu option along the top toolbar.

8. Select Maintain.usr

9. Now when you enter a New task, and scroll down to the related parts list, you will be able to click on the yellow field and see the parts you entered. The Edit button will now work.
