How soon does a PM that is scheduled become red flagged?
ID: 80 Category: EPM 8 Multiuser Status: Closed Views: 742

Question:

If I have a scheduled date for a PM, but the mechanic doesn't get to it until 2 or 3 days after the "scheduled" date, or if he doesn't get time to enter the completion info right away, will it be "red flagged" saying poor maintenance right away, or is there a set grace period before the red flag markes the equipment log.

Solution:

Joe, there is no grace period as that is the maximum. However, if you are at cycle 1, and you view the workorder under the Job Tickets tab, notice there are two radio buttons, scheduled and unscheduled.   If you enter the job ticket later you can click the scheduled radio button and the red flag will change. But if you are at cycles 2 and greater, it will not because the red flag is based on an average of the last two records.

You could back date the entries. This is the purpose of the new feature, the calendar, which I just released. To plan your work so that does not happen. As soon as I get it tested for the on-line system I will upgrade you.
Thanks.
